Leading renewable energy minigrid developer Husk Power Systems expands global leadership team
Fort Collins, CO, USA — Today, Husk Power Systems (huskpowersystems.com), a next generation power company operating renewable energy minigrids in Asia and Africa, announced the addition of three new members to its global executive team. The hires strengthen Husk’s leadership and set the company up to deliver 10x growth over the next five years.
Dilip Panjwani joined the company as the Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO), following 22 years of finance experience, most recently as CFO of Yupp TV and Hinduja Group. He has successfully raised US $500 million of equity and debt funding from capital markets. Mr. Panjwani will work closely with the CEO and help raise a next round of equity and debt capital to fuel rapid expansion of the company’s minigrid assets.
Manish Kapoor took on the role of Vice President of Global Marketing. Mr. Kapoor has spearheaded marketing programs for over two decades for fast-moving and durable consumer goods companies, including Pepsico, Nestle and Havells. He has led teams in product development, product portfolio management, pricing, and last mile distribution. He has also conceived and launched multiple brands and products.
Rajneesh Kumar joined as Vice President of Global Sales. During his quarter century of B2B and B2C sales experience, he has developed business models and processes to drive sustained and consistent revenue growth, profitability, and expansion of market share. Mr. Kumar previously worked with companies including DS Group, Pepsico, Nutrine Confectionary, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communication, Idea Cellular Ltd, OPPO Mobile India Pvt Ltd.
