Husk Power Unveils New Brand Identity, Positions Company for Unstoppable Growth with Tech-Enabled Rural Energy Platform
FORT COLLINS – Today, Husk Power Systems (“Husk”) unveiled a new brand visual identity, reflecting the company’s unstoppable pursuit of innovation and its mission to super-charge the growth of rural economies in Asia and Africa and improve the lives of tens of millions of people.
Husk pioneered the community minigrid industry in 2008, creating a new category of decentralized renewable energy infrastructure that provides first-time access to reliable, affordable and modern power. It has since significantly evolved its business model, expanding beyond energy access to also contribute to the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables. As a result, Husk has grown from a pure-play community minigrid company to become a platform that includes sales and finance of energy efficient appliances, turnkey commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar and a range of low-carbon and climate-resilient energy services. This innovative ecosystem approach is progressively becoming more intelligent and automated, powered by AI and IoT.
“This brand refresh reflects our company’s amazing journey over the past 15 years,” said Manoj Sinha, CEO and Co-founder of Husk Power Systems. “It’s about a new logo, but it’s much more than that. It’s about fully embracing digital-first, technology-enabled solutions that offer the next generations of rural Africa and Asia access to the global economy with the flick of a switch and the tap of an app.”
The new logo is simple, modern and easily recognizable, and evokes Husk’s focus on super-charging the future for small businesses, households, schools, health clinics – a future built around digitalization, decentralization and decarbonization of energy.
Elements of Husk’s brand evolution include:
New Logo: As a prominent representation of the company and its people, the new brand mark reflects the company’s unstoppable energy. Rooted in the concept of building blocks, the visual identity is coupled with a digitally-inspired momentum that has a clear end point in mind. Husk always has its feet on the ground, while looking over the horizon and coming up with new and inventive ways of solving wicked problems.
New Brand Colors: A multitude of fresh colors speaks to the diversity and richness of the Husk business, and communicates a brand personality that is fearless, vibrant, optimistic and smart.
